Sunday November 16th 2008

Chloe is now 13 weeks old and is getting used to her lead and Harness. Today was a warm, sunny November day( Honest ) so we went to Kilrenny Common for a walk

Sunday, 2 November 2008

Sunday 2nd November. First walk outside. We went to Elie Point in the morning, so to avoid other dog walkers. The thought behind this was that it was better to get chloe used to the lead without too many distractions.

We did meet a boxer dog. Chloe rolled over on her back and submitted!!
In the afternoon we took he up Anstruther Harbour and she wet herself when someone gave her some attention.

So far she loves people and dogs.

Lucy was a rescue dog. Left for dead on the side of the road and rescued by our wonderfull vet. She lived with us for 10 wonderfull years and was cruelly taken by cancer.
Sshe was just one of those special dogs. You keep dogs all your life and one day a special one apears. that was our lucy

the new puppy

Following the very untimely loss of our belloved Staffie lucy on 2nd September 2008 we bought our first puppy in over 30 years. Usually we get a young rescue but this time we have gone for a pup.

Chloe was born on 18August and we got her on 18th September. Yes I know a bit too young but the mum had 10 in the litter and could not cope.
As experienced dog owners we can make this work.
